Behind the research
Nathalia Hyland leads research and editorial development for The Toolkit’s annual physician studies. Her work examines how independent primary care physicians choose the systems and tools that shape daily practice.
For the 2025 Battle of the EHRs and the 2026 Battle of the Support Stack, Nathalia designed the surveys, developed the methodology, analyzed the responses, and led the editorial interpretation of the findings.
Maryal Concepcion, MD, FAAFP reviewed both surveys for relevance to DPC physicians and contributed questions and suggestions.
